On my way to Dubai!

Hey all, 

just a little update...classes are  overrrrr, my GPA went down to a 3.2 now :( so bummed about it but than again I AM  a third year student in the Engineering major with two jobs and I am involved in 6 different clubs so Im very proud of myself!

usually there are students who are still in there second year with out a job not involved in anything and their GPA is way lower than a 3.2 so not going to stress it, but than again I want to compare myself to the geniuses with a 3.9 instead of the people with a 1.9 lol.

Ive worked REALLLYY hard this semester, therefore I decided to give myself a wonderful vacation!!!!!!!!

somewhere warm, far and exotic and I also want to see loved ones, soooooo I though there is no  better destination than UAE! I heading to the airport in about 2 hours, I will be going to Amsterdam for a few hours and than to dubai I shall be there at 12 AM 2012!!! happpy new years everyone <3 I WILLL POST videos and TONS of picx no worries :)

Cyber monday ELF haul

Sooo I just received my ELF order from cyber Monday! boy was I excited, they had EVERYTHING %50 so I decided to do a a little shopping here is what I bought: 

First I got this brush holder that has their logo on it, its so classy yet simple I really like it, by far my favorite item in this whole haul

 I got four nail polishes, (from right) Lilac, Light Pink, Passion Pink, and Nude

 Bronzer and Highlight

Lip brush and Eyebrows' wand

 Face (makeup) mist

 Concealer

 Face Primer

Setting Powder

 Eyebrow Kit

 Purple eye pencil (I LOVE THIS PHOTOOOOO)

And last but not least, face highlight thingy :)

So this stuff I just go tonight, so I did not get to try them out, but I will tomorrow and will keep you guys updated how I like/dislike each product etc. the only thing I tried were the purple and light pink nail polish and I LOVE THEMMM soooo much! ELF has such good nail polishes I swear!

decorating your room with flowers!

Hey, so recently Ive became really into flowers, and plants that are rich in color. and this is why I purchased this purple beautifullll flower for my room

I think it makes your place look fresh, stylish and brings out some color which makes the whole room look better, key things that pop out in a boring room or space can really make a difference.

So go out get yourself some cute flowers with an amazing color and place it in an area that is "boring" or simply anywhere in your room and you will notice  the difference seriously! cant wait to buy more, but not too much since I want a room not a garden lol

Im so bored and comfy at home, chilling in my room and listening to some music/watching youtube. I should really be studying right now but I DONT feel like it, hehe :P

aren't they sooo freaking adorable, I love wearing them so much cuz they looks SO cute at home with some cute Victoria's secret pants/ shorts. and the best part is they are SOOO comfy as well, I wish I could sleep with them on :')

 here im wearing them with Victoria's Secret (PINK) yellow pants! ahh btw they have THE BEST yellow ever, I love everything they sell that is yellow :D

Hey everyone! 

guess what Im so excited because after TWO weeks Im finished with my fall semester! YAY and that means vacation!!! 

so I recently booked my ticket for UAE :) I haven't been there in 2 years so Im excited to go back see my family and friends whom I have missed terribly. I cant wait to go shopping and most importantly I CANNOT WAIT till I go to the beach (an all girls beach) YAYYY! I haven't  been to the beach since I started wearing hijab, well haven't been in a bathing suit at least, so I cant wait :) I need to go bathing suit shopping (even tho I have more than I can count with my fingers), Im also going to put khaliji henna for the first time so im excited about that yay <3

I need a new camera

HI, 

so I need your advice on something. 

what is a really gooddd camera for videos? 

I currently have this: 

its an AMAZING camera, unfortunately It does not take videos :( 

So I was wondering if you guys know of any good quality camera (HD) that takes AMAZING video (with the blurry background and everything) and that doesn't cost over $1000 lol :) Im sure there is something relatively cheap and very high quality out there, so the cheaper the better. if not that I might just have to suck it up and do a little shopping on a high quality camera ;) thanks in advanced

MY EID HENNA :) BY MOI

OLAAAAA :) 

SOO0 before Eid I decided to do my own henna. and to my suprise it came out AMAZING lol...not bad for a second time ever doing henna? 

I learned the trick.....it is to have a steady hand, I cant really draw either so that has nothing to do with it, just a steady hand. I supported my hand with my face lol and had my elbow on a hard surface....I went very slowly after awhile u get the hang of it, also when making the designs u want to press and while making the line of henna paste come out you move it around to creat the shape (almost like creating the shape  on air before it hits your hand) and this is my final results :)

Theres tons of new newsssss!!! yay, I started my third year of Engineering technology its going great, I found another Arab (shes new) girl in all of my classes, and I swear we are like the SAME. 

we have been inseparable ever since, shes a very gorgeous girl from Lebanon, she also wants to be an Environmental engineer (first person I met) and everyone that doesnt know me thinks were sisters lol its great.

I have been doing well in all my classes so far except my physics cuz my professor is a total douche bag.......what has been up with youuu???

HELP MY HAIR!!!!!

Hello lovely laddies! 

First and for most I want to thank all my readers and people who have been leaving me comments I read each and every single one of them AND I LOVE THEM :) thank you for your support and taking time to read through my blog, I truly enjoy this. :) 

On to the topic, OKAY so ive been growing my hair and all and I realize my hair needs some SERIOUS REPAIR! it is so dry now, I mean it looks nice when straighten, before hijab I used to straighten my hair everyday without using heat protector. Ive also died it jet black before. so I want to ask you guys for any advice that can help me and my hair. Id like for it to get repair and get healthy again :) do you guys know any home remedies? or any products or hair masks? ANYTHING !!! LOL I am willing to try it all, Also do you guys know any tips on making the hair longer in shorter time! ive become obsessed with LOONGG hair, and want it to get longer now before tomorrow :P 

Oh and right after I finish posting this blog I am going to go try out this hair mask that my mom gave me. HOPE IT HELPS

VIVA LA JUICE!

Hey dolls! so recently I was at the mall with a friend, and I had NO INTENTIONS on buying ANYTHING (since im a such a shopaholic). I was helping her pick out a new bag at Macys. However, I came across the perfume Ive always wanted (because it looks cute) LOL. Im talking about no other but Viva La Juice by Juicy Couture! I ended up spending $100+ tax. hmmm, so much for not wanting to  spend a dime huh? Well of course the thing that always made me soo attracted to this perfume is ironically not the smell, it is the appearance.

 The one I got was the set that came with the lotion and shower gel, which I REGRET! because the shower gel sucks LOL and I didnt even bother trying the lotion since its so strong. the smell of the perfume is veryyyy GOOODD! however, it gives me a headache :( some smells give me a really bad headache and I guess this one does as well.

Oh and also! If I took out the bow from the perfume and used it as a two finger ring! haaa LOVE ITTTTT <3

Henna stickers

Hello guys! well if you know me you know how much I LOVE HENNA! unfortunately , I cant get an Arab henna designer where I live so I decided to have some henna stickers be sent to me from Morocco and UAE. I was curious to try it, and so I did.

so this are the stickers I have, as you know I am reaaaaallllyyy in love with khaleeji henna designs, and I CANT WAIT to get a 100 pure khaliji henna (from a khaleeji girl) next time im in Dubai, untill then I will just keep getting what I like to call the "fake" khaleeji henna LOL. 

 First and most I made sure to wash my hands very well, to get rid of the oils and stuff like that to make sure the henna stains well and lasts longer as well!

 I than applied the desired sticker, I put the part thats suppose to be in the middle on the end of my hand going down from my pinky to get more of a khaleeji henna look :D

 I used a henna needle, in Morocco the henna designers use needles instead of the henna cone. the needles are much harder, but that is what I had so I used it to fill in the sticker

 and thats all, I waited until it dried and used a blow dryer to help it dry faster, and than peeled it off when it was completely dried!

Moroccan ghassoul for the body!

Hello dolls! so today I want to talk about moroccan ghasoul, I talked about this a few months ago but it was for facials only! today I have PURE mudd moroccan ghassoul straight from the Morocco and its for the body. This can be purchased at any Moroccan hamam (in morocco) or at the Attar (the herp man in morocco). 

 and this is what it looks like on the inside, they are just like mud rocks.

 each one is different size, you can take as many as you like, it all depends on how much ghassoul paste you want. for me here I only took one to show you guys how its done.

 I than mixed it with warm water, and it dissolves and mixes with the water

 You can use a spoon, a tool or simply your fingers and mix it around to make it easier, dont put too much water because you would rather have it be thick paste than all watery, when its completely dissolved and you find it to be too thick and you dont like that you can add little water! remember its better thick than watery! also, less is always more :D

You then take the ghassoul paste and apply it to your body, leave it there untill it is completely dry and hard, and than wash it off! enjoy the softness and how clean your skin will look and feel :D
