Moroccan Arabic

Helloooo!!! it has been a while im missing you guys so mucho!! lol
a quick update, my spring semester is going great so far! im on top of all my work everything is going well so far, hopefully it stays that way for the rest of the semester.
anyhow I wanted to speak to you guys about the language in Morocco.
just like other Arab countries, morocco speaks Arabic! however, Moroccan Arabic is not the same as Egyptian or Omani or Saudi or Lebanese Arabic. each country has its own words, slang and the accents. however, it seems like Moroccan Arabic is the hardest of them all, Moroccans can understand any form of Arabic when spoken, however most other countries cant understand us when were speaking.
Moroccan Arabic consists of many languages in one, mostly Arabic (of course) but it also has french, Spanish, Berber and words from alot of other languages, this is mainly the reason why.
each city has its own accent as well, you can pretty much tell the exact city a person is from by their choice of words and the way they say them. for example, someone who is from Marrakesh has a VERY noticeable "marakshy" accent, same goes for people from Casablanca and tangier and so on! many Moroccans also speak more than one language (aside from all the different kinds Arabic) most of time the second language is french, since french is the ultimate second language for morocco. there also exist Berber language, the Berbers are the original Moroccans before the Arabs came. and even with in the Berber language there are different kinds, like tamazight tashelheet and so on.

I found a video on youtube with different Moroccan dialects, hehe hope you enjoy :D
