Moroccan food

Hello dolls! today I want to share with all of you some of the pictures of Moroccan food (my mom's). I really love Moroccan food, it is what I grew up with and its GREAT! people always ask me about Moroccan food especially since the Moroccan restaurant that are in America seemed to be popular and are amongst the top restaurant. so people are always wondering (that haven't been to a Moroccan restaurant) what do we really cook. well Moroccan food tend to have a lot of different spices and different tastes, not really all spicy like some of the other Arabic or Indian dishes, but they have a really tasty taste hehe. Also the way the dishes are presented are very important, if you have company over it is a must for you to bring out your best dish ware, spoons and even the cup and bottle that you serve water in. enough talking here are some photos from our new year dinner,

first, always comes the Moroccan salad, its usually a lot neater, but pretty much the rise or what ever goes in the middle and things go around it on top of lettuce in a pattern. than comes the second dish, in this case we had pastilla which is SO GOOD, there are different kinds of pastila, pretty much its a thin crust and its filled with stuff on the inside, there is chicken pastila which is usually on the sweet side, in this case we had seafood pastilla, it contained things like shrimp seafood the whole deal and of course the "sha3riya" which I cant think of what its called in English same goes for the chicken one it has the sha3riya, our third dish was meat and barqooq, its sooo tasty and yummy and you eat it with home made warm Moroccan bread. after all these comes the dessert, in morocco dessert is the fruits, literally that people sometimes refer to fruit as dessert. like if they're eating fruit even if its not after a meal they would say we are eating dessert. if i tell them in American dessert is like ice cream or cake they are like "WHATTTTTT" lol I hope you guys enjoyed and learned more about my culture <3
