self love

Hello everyone, this is going to be more of a personal blog. So if your not interested you can stop reading....NOW!

 a few years ago I went through a heartbreak. After the heartbreak I got inspired to become more religious and closer to God because that is where I found my inner peace, I started wearing hijab, I started doing stuff that I LOVE, spent more time focusing on me and became fully in love with ME! Ive become like a magnet, I loved myself so much that everyone else around me was automatically drawn to ME. Ive head several men head over heels for me, ready to marry me and so on but I was too busy loving myself, doing what will benefit me.  It took me over two years to fully get over and move on from that person that I THOUGHT I love.

 He was an a amazing guy, very attractive he was half Moroccan, caring and all of that BUT he had this side to him lets just say wasnt the best--and I wont go into detail because its not fair to him. I had the best and worse days of my life while I was with him! But the worse part was he was extremely emotionally abusive to me. I have never felt so low,  and there literally hasn't gone ONE day without us fighting. It was crazy. 

At the time of the breakup it got really really bad to the point that he was abusing me more than ever, using profound language and making me feel more like crap. At the time, I couldn't see the plan God had for me and thought that I was completely devastated, I felt that my life sucked so bad. But what I know now that I did not know at the time was how wonderful, stronger, experiences I would come out of that situation. I've become a better person and humane being on on levels.

  EVERYTHING in life, even if it seems pointless is there to HELP you. He was there as a teacher to me and as a person whom taught me that I needed to make my standards higher, that I needed to love myself better, to have more self worth, to respect myself. And this is exactly what had happened. So, now looking back I am extremly happy and grateful for that situation, I seriously seriously seriously would not change ANYTHING if I could go back and do so. It was an amazing experience, lesson and something that I've benefited from for a whole life time and I am glad that I was able to go through that in the course of my life.

After being hurt and all that, I just want to say that I have been contacted lots of times from this person trying to come back into my life. Claiming that is now different and is grown up and is not acting like the little kid that he was before. And that he wanted to marry me and I'm the type of girl he would see himself with for the rest of his life. It was all rewarding and nice to hear this from him, but it was just a little too late and I have been super changed. Hes been trying to be back with me for 2 years + now. Last time we spoke was 6 months ago, though I never have time for him it is NICE to know that my crying and telling msyelf one day he will regret it over and over again DID actually come true. So ladies, please please please LOVE YOURSELF! repsect yourself, if you are going through any type of heartache have the love and respect for YOU to just walk away and reconsider your life. focus on you and everyone else will be coming to you, trust me! I am here for anyone who wants any advice or just wants to talk. I'll happily answer any questions you guys might have about what I wrote about, theres so much more but I dont want to take your time and keep you reading so I will end it at that.

Back in America

Hello lovelies (: 

I am back to America, I had an amazing time in UAE!! I was planing to blog while I was there...however I forgot my blog password and I did not take my laptop (which has the password stored haha) 

I did  A TON of shopping!!!!! and a lot of tourist things, I took picx but most of the time I kept forgetting my camera either at home or in the car :( such a loser I am huh?

so heres a list of things I did there: 

-Visited Al-ain 

-Went on a desert safari

-Did khaliji henna

-Went to an all girls beach <3

-Bought a realllyyy AMAZING abaya

-Recied a ton of gifts from loved ones

-Went around the desert in a camel 

-Got a bunch of Arabic/khaliji CD's

-Went around the whole Dubai in the metro (haha took forever) 

-Eat all types of yummy foods of different cultures, especially the Arabic part (my mouth is watering as im writing this)

-I saw an a person of my past, that I needed to see and I feel that I had moved on past that situation in drama due to this meeting with this person! feels soooooo ahhhhhhhh!!!

-Bought Louis Vuitton speedy (FINALLYYYY) 

-Bough this amazing kaftan in purple which I am in love with 

-Purchaced and starting reading this amazing book

-I also bought some new makeup, and recieved an arabic perfume as a gift (so sweet)

ANNNNDDD I also met some AMAZING people, I love them all, got to learn so much from the UAE culture...seriously Emiraty people are some of the nicest sweetest people you just have to get to know them first before judging, sommeeee locals might seem as show offs and stuck up. but trust me, just get to know them and they will be soooo honored you came to their country and will go way out of their way to make sure you have an amazing stay in UAE ;) PRICELESS

On my way to Dubai!

Hey all, 

just a little update...classes are  overrrrr, my GPA went down to a 3.2 now :( so bummed about it but than again I AM  a third year student in the Engineering major with two jobs and I am involved in 6 different clubs so Im very proud of myself!

usually there are students who are still in there second year with out a job not involved in anything and their GPA is way lower than a 3.2 so not going to stress it, but than again I want to compare myself to the geniuses with a 3.9 instead of the people with a 1.9 lol.

Ive worked REALLLYY hard this semester, therefore I decided to give myself a wonderful vacation!!!!!!!!

somewhere warm, far and exotic and I also want to see loved ones, soooooo I though there is no  better destination than UAE! I heading to the airport in about 2 hours, I will be going to Amsterdam for a few hours and than to dubai I shall be there at 12 AM 2012!!! happpy new years everyone <3 I WILLL POST videos and TONS of picx no worries :)

I need a new camera

HI, 

so I need your advice on something. 

what is a really gooddd camera for videos? 

I currently have this: 

its an AMAZING camera, unfortunately It does not take videos :( 

So I was wondering if you guys know of any good quality camera (HD) that takes AMAZING video (with the blurry background and everything) and that doesn't cost over $1000 lol :) Im sure there is something relatively cheap and very high quality out there, so the cheaper the better. if not that I might just have to suck it up and do a little shopping on a high quality camera ;) thanks in advanced

 first I want to apologize for pretty much disappearing and leaving my poor blog unattended and totally abandoned it :( I SOWWYYYY 

Theres tons of new newsssss!!! yay, I started my third year of Engineering technology its going great, I found another Arab (shes new) girl in all of my classes, and I swear we are like the SAME. 

we have been inseparable ever since, shes a very gorgeous girl from Lebanon, she also wants to be an Environmental engineer (first person I met) and everyone that doesnt know me thinks were sisters lol its great.

I have been doing well in all my classes so far except my physics cuz my professor is a total douche bag.......what has been up with youuu???

first week of spring semester

Hello lovelies, im soosos sorry for abandoning you :( 

my internet problem should sort out by saturday (as they say) 

this week was our first week of the spring semester! I started everything pretty well, im staying REALLY organized and trying to plan out everything in details that way I make the most with my time. 

 Ive been using iCal, which is beyond wonderful...this is what my schedule looks like for this week 

All my professors are asian, which I love! the Asian/chinese professor are the best, besides the accent after going beyond the accent problem everything else is GREAT. and most importantly, they care.

 my engineering professor however, is very very intimidating! he is a very smart Indian man. his accent isnt very thick, but someone told me his job there was to try to get those with not much "toughness" in them to quite engineering now before its too late! 

oh noo, Ive been through a good four years of engineering in high school with some crazyyyy teachers. we started out 20 people, 10 boys and 10 girls we ended with 8  engineering graduates (one barely graduating) and only 2 went on to further their education in engineering (I am one of them) the other person happen to be in my uni and all my classes as well. 

also, first year before you are "accepted" to the engineering college in my university their goal is to try to get you to quite as well, and let me tell you ALOT  of people did. 

so after all that, you know im not letting this dude come in my way, OH NOOO! 

my only non-asian professor is my spanish class professor :D he is awesome and soooo FUNNY! I had him last spring semester for spanish 101 and I loved that class, so I decided to take spanish 102 with him. the class was full, but since im one of his favorite students he gave me a "special" code to register to his classsss woho <3 

anyways, today was a snow day. we had another snow storm, it was wonderful :D I wanted to take some photos but I lost both of my memory cards :( agh!! wish me luck finding at least one of them!

Hello, so Im sure you've seen all the craziness going on with people REFUSING to have their zodiac sign change all of the sudden.
according to astronomers decided that over the years since the earth is not in the same place as before, the stars have shifted which means the horoscope signs are all different.
Only most leos are still leos haha!
well for me, when I was young everyone you looked I was a the last day of leo (my birthday is August,23) and than all of the sudden I became the first day of virgo! SO I was always in between and then I got used and accustomed to being a virgo, LOL I know it doesn't mean much, I dont believe in them but its always kind of cool. and y'know its kind of like someone saying oh your birthday is not the same, people ARE GOING MAD!

Hello, okay so I was recently taged by Ghizlane , its a little questionar so people can learn more about you! so lets get to it :)

Why did you create your blog? 

When I was in Morocco this summer, I was obsessed with henna so I would google different kinds of henna designs, and than I found myself in a lovely blog, than more and more arab people blogs. after a few months of following and reading I was inspired to start my own :)

What sort of blogs do you follow? 

Beauty, Arab, Islam, fashion, and just any type of blogs really

What is your favorite makeup brand? 

of course Mac!

What are your favorite clothing brands? 

I dont have a favorite "brand", for me its not about the brand or the name but more about the style, the way it looks, and most importantly the way its made. I like something thats comfortable and was made with care, rather than something made with cheap materials, and mess up quickly.

Your essentials in your make-up?

as much as im interested in make-up. im not really a person that wears make up every day. I dont like having my face "painted" with foundation. one thing I do wear mostly daily (but never always) is eyeliner (black eyeliner, or khol) 

Your favorite color? 

I have a lot of fav. colors and they always change. PINK is always a favorite, right now I really love bright yellow, I like bright blue, lime, white, black.

Your perfume? 

OF COURSE, Chance by CHANEL.

What countries would you like to visit? 

Im planing on traveling the world, I am blessed to have been to so many lovley countries so far! 

right now my obsession is INDIA! i want to and need to and HAVE TO go to India ASAP :)
