Happy New Year

Helloooo my loves,

I really really really miss you all and miss blogging. 

But what can I do, Engineering school has really taking me away from all of my activities outside of it, and consumed me into its giant stomach. 

I had a life, just not my normal everyday life. Suddenly I found myself surrounded by structural analysis and differential equations, and with that came the engineering DRAMA. yes real life drama!!! 

Since I am on my winter break now, I want to update you all a little about my life and what has happened to me in um the past 2 years. 

 

1. The Engagement 

I found myself engaged to a future neurosurgeon from Abu Dhabi who loved me so much and treated me like a queen (that I am). His mom and dad LOVED me, and I loved them sososo much, God knows how much of a big place they took in my heart. His sisters, well 5 of them didnt like me as much, I still do know why. My only guess is because I wasn't one of them, you know from UAE. Not only that but I was  a Moroccan-- you know what they say about Moroccans in that region--sluts,whores,hookers, man-eaters, gold diggers, black-magic practice-rs --you know just to name a few. 

Its 2014, I dont believe that Arab females really think that Moroccan girls are all evil witches that look beautiful and dress elegantly and carry themselves like queens that know how to treat a MAN (at least they dont deny those facts if you ask them), I just think they are merely jealous. Same with Lebanese, the whole Arab world knows how beautiful Lebanese girls are, yet you have some girls talking bad about them--jealousy kills. 

So, I called off the wedding. We were going to get married in May 2014. His sisters wanted to come between us, create fights and even fight with their own brother every single day over me. And what did I ever do but try soooo hard to make them like me, to make them see me as a girl who truly loved their brother, who will do her best as a wife to make her husband first above everyone else, to treat him like a king, I was ready to give up my life to make him the happiest man on earth. But I guess they couldn't see that, and soon after distance came in between us, he was surrounded by them and gave in, and gave up on me. Suddenly, he was becoming more and more of a person who I did not recognize. I wasn't going to be that evil bitch that came in between him and his sisters. I am a true believer that family come before anything else. My friends and family told me who cares? Dont give up, why do you care about his sisters, dont let them separate you. But to make a man choose between his lover and his family that hes known for all of his life was something that I am not about. And so, I let if go.

I realized, that is not somewhere I belonged. and don't get me wrong, its not like I just randomly told him NO we cant do this. I tried my hardest, but I refused to make him pick my side, or at least see my side for that matter. I never discussed his sisters in any negative light. and So they won. After all, they were only looking after their brother, and it saddens me that they have judged me FOR NO REASON. but I cant make someone like me, I can sit here and say I dont care if people dont like me. Actually I do care, well when it comes to people that matter at least. 

Oh, well. at least I'm over his now. He recently talked to me, we are friends but thats it and I like it that way, he is a great guy and very respectful and Lord knows we both deserve better!! so I cant wait to meet my future husband hahahahahhah

Dorm room tour

Okay so this is a video of my dorm room and how I decorated the ugly thing lol. I decided to make the video in Arabic since not many people have dorm room videos in Arabic....even though my Arabic sucks lol. let me know what you guys think!

How I decorate my University Dorm room

University dorm rooms can look like a prison, but it all depends on you and how YOU make it look. Most people's rooms that I visit look so......unattractive. I wouldn't want to stay there. Lucky for me, I got placed into the apartments, which have a kitchen living room, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and showers (1 shower/bathroom per 2 people). But even that the rooms can look HORRIBLE. actually the whole apartment but again it just depends on the people living there. So, here are somethings I did to try to make my room more attractive and something I LOVE coming home to after a long day of stressful classes and meeting etc.

One thing that I hate is the lighting! Oh gosh especially at night, its so strong and yellowish everything looks ugly... so I bought this colorful light things and I also put Christmas lights, most of the time I just have the Christmas lights on because I prefer low "calm" lighting. 

 

I also have this cute lamp thingy from target!! its SUPER cute, I have my louboutin shoes hung on them so when I study I can look at them and thing "OH YOU WANT TO AFFORD MORE? STUDY HARDER STUDY HARDER" haha

 This is my makeup section and storage

 this is my makeup section, I also like to keep a little notepad near my bed because I like to write sometimes, or doodle, or write my goals lol

 In the storage thing, I keep some air freshener and febreez which you cant see here, I also keep clutches. In the photo below I have this thing from Fly Emirates (BEST AIRLINE EVER) and I just keep my nail polishes there

 I keep a plug thing near my bed so I can charge my stuff and my phone at night while sleeping. like my hello kitty?

 I keep a little thing of all my everyday creams and such.....

 I have face masks, lotions, night creams, hair serum, deodorant, makeup wipes, hair mask, sunscreen/ sunblock, baby powder lol, primer etc etc

 My desk, I have fake flowers that I LOVE...from Ikea. Camera (I FINALLY GOT ONE, now if only I can start recording) I also have two of my favorite candles...even if I dont light them they still smell amazing..and all the way to the left I have a little cute box filled with all my hair stuff (pins, hair strainer, heat protector etc)

 Some of the mess and my books. I also keep some traveling stuff (behind the two traveling hair conditioners things)

 I like to also put up my beautiful Chanel bag, since its yellow and helps add some color to my otherwise prison-looking wall. I also have some wall art from target...it says "Always kiss me goodnight" lol

 I LOVE to use these little pin things to help my decorations stay up because the sticky stuff at target and walmart doesnt work -__-

 this is my awesome jewelry part,  I like to keep cute boxes from the jewelry gifts I got that year....

 rings rings rings....chaaaa

 This thing I got from a craft store and it holds my bracelets and some of my watches

I also keep some of the pillow things to keep my favorite watches on them

 

 My lovely perfumes...I have a bunch of lotions in the background (and some things from the hotel in Manhattan, Abu Dhabi and a hotel from New Jersey)  too but I dont really like them there, it just looks too much, Im still thinking of a neat way to store them all.

 I also put my towel robe thing on the wall because I like how it all ties up together.

And lastly, thats my closet, I hung a thing on the door to keep all of my colorful scarfs on to add some more color to my room...I also hang some of my bags on the colorful light thing that I got from target :D

Rihanna's new perfume

Hey <3

So, I'm not really a big fan of getting celebrity perfumes. They suck, and most people ONLY get them because of the actual celebrity and not the perfume. But I do like to go around and smell their perfumes at the store just to see which one sucks more. I, however was surprised completely to see how GOOD Rhianna's perfume was...like OMG its AWESOME! she has a red one and a black one (cant be bothered to remember the names) BUT they were both so good that I didnt know which one to get so I decided not to get any. 

I went to the mall again, and this time if you buy one large perfume you get this AMAZING clutch and I didnt even care about the perfume that clutch was sooooo cute and a shirt with her perfume logo "Reb'l"  or something but it was so simple cute....again I was stuck on which one to get so I decided to get the red one because I love the color red :D IM SO HAPPY WITH IT! I actually ended up getting a kit which has the large size perfume, a small travel one, lotion and body wash with the clutch and the shirt all for a little under 100! seriously Rihanna has made me PROUD!

 The two red things in the back are the lotion and body wash :D Also, the box with her face is the awesome box it came in

 And this is the amazing clutch that I LOVE, it has a bracelet thing stuck to it!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH :')

I wore it for an event soon after getting it :D
